Request: Create a guide to aid in the proper measurement of firefighters to assist in ordering turnout gear (coats and pants) in correct sizes.
Considerations: Firefighter turnout gear is custom made-to-order. Ill fitting gear is not only uncomfortable but can be dangerous. A guide is needed to assist those ordering gear in obtaining and submitting correct measurements.
Solution: A printed booklet and digital app provide step-by-step instructions describing the process for taking accurate measurements, with digital version allowing easy navigation of each section.
Full color photos and exact written instructions, along with a how-to video, give clear technical instructions and best practices techniques for obtaining correct measurements.
