PROJECT BRIEF
Client: Fibre-Metal by Honeywell
Fibre-Metal Brand Manager, Welding Products Manager
Request: Develop a promotional program to introduce the Fibre-Metal welding brand of products to a younger generation of welders by reaching out to high school and trade school welding programs.
Considerations: Create program name and logo. Graphics should appeal to a younger audience while remaining true to the current brand, and speak to welders.
Program should appeal to and have messaging that targets student welders, instructors, and school administrators. Sampling of products is be paramount.
Solution: Welding inspired design elements including a bright blue and deep black color pallet accented by bright oranges, a nod to colors produced by a welding torch.
High gloss paperboard sample package self-mailer, containing a pair of safety eyewear and a logo’d flashlight. Text sets an aspirational tone, and offers a free selection from a number of welding products pictured on the packaging.
